It’s a God job!

I’ve come to realize there are simply some things in life im not going to be able to do anything about. There will be occasions when we simply cannot change what happens or how it happens. There will be these times in our lives when our hands are tied, our minds go blank, our mouths shut, and we feel totally helpless. We may have someone in our face demanding us to speak but no words will come out. These are the times for God jobs! These are experiences of God working on you, in you, through you, and for you. Although you may want to get involved, although you feel the need to do something, when God is working, your job is to be still!
Psalm 46:10
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
There is nothing more challenging than sitting through a God job. Yes. You feel weak. Yes, you feel stupid. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do, nor is there anything you need to do but wait. In a God job, there is nothing you need to say. There is no place you need to go. There is no amount of fixing, figuring out or trying that will make what you want to happen, happen the way you want it to happen. When God is on the job, working on you, in you and for you, there is no one and nothing on the planet that can help you through what you are going through.
On a God job, the only course of action is total trust. You must become like a child again. You must trust that you will be fed, that you will be changed, that you will be protected, that every need you have will be met. It may feel like you are being passive, but the truth is, if you can trust God in the midst of a challenge, God can do more for you in five minutes than you can do in five years.
We encounter impossible people in our families, in our neighborhoods, in our churches, and in our workplace. But what makes us all happy is relationships; close ones! If they make us so happy why are they so difficult sometimes and how do we handle the situation? In the past, you may have been trying to do for yourself what only God can do for you. Starting today, be devoted to trusting that God is on the job doing what needs to be done, the way it needs to be done, working towards the best possible outcome for your best interest. Have you asked for his help?
John 14:13-14
13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
