I didn’t know I had ADD until I was 57. I am now married to this wise man who helped me get help. But, I don’t communicate well. I just talk. When I read your blog on talking vs communication, tears welled up in my eyes. My poor husband! He’s been telling me I didn’t know how to communicate for the past 8 yrs ! Thank you! What a blessing this was and a gift to both of us!
I’m so glad it helped you. I was married to someone who suffered from aspergers syndrome. I didn’t know at the time why I wasn’t being heard until the diagnosis. One of the worst feelings is not being heard. Its all about love, mutual respect, and communication. Thank you for commenting. God bless!😀
